Driving around to find the best holiday decor is one of the best ways to get into the spirit of the season. Luckily, Douglas County has plenty of great spots to find an amazing show! Whether you want a drive-through experience or an over-the-top synchronized light show, we’ve gathered the best spots to see the season shine. Bundle up, grab some cocoa, and get ready to explore the best holiday light displays near you.
Castle Rock
Visit Downtown Castle Rock to enjoy the holiday decor, including hundreds of thousands of twinkling lights, during the Season of the Star from Nov. 22 to Jan. 24.
Castle Rock Griswolds, 1692 Gentle Rain Dr., Castle Rock, 80109 (90.3 FM), have been building on their display for 11 years and this year, added an FM transmitter that plays music while the light dance to the music.
Franktown Festival of Lights
From Nov. 27 until Dec. 31, head out to Franktown for lights, Christmas music, a walking trail, a mini drive-thru experience and animated displays. There is no charge but bring canned goods, non-perishable or hygiene related items to donate. For more information, visit christmasshowtimes.com.
Highlands Ranch
The Highlands Ranch Community Association publishes a list of the best holiday light displays in Highlands Ranch every year. Submit your home to be added and find the 2025 list of displays online now!

A Highlands Ranch favorite, don’t miss the Hazard Gingerbread House, 10221 S. Fairgate Way, which was featured on the TV show, “The Great Christmas Light Fight”. Follow them on Facebook for opening dates, times, and other information.
The Christmas Spirit is strong in Star Wars: The Battle For the North Pole house, 9973 Blackbird Place, Highlands Ranch, 80130. The home is decorated on all four sides, so you can’t miss it, with the main display featuring the characters of Star Wars, including four “flying” starships. New this season: the addition of a 17.5-foot full Santa and reindeer team flying past the Death Star. More than 50 inflatables, 20,000 lights and many other fun details and characters. Lights are on from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. nightly through January 1, 2026.
9971 Cottoncreek Dr., Highlands Ranch, 80130 is an award winning house with more than 100,000 lights which include deer, angels, snowmen, and a full-size sleigh and Santa. Drop off a letter in Santa’s mailbox, include your address, and get a response! Lights are on daily from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Stop by Candy Cane Lane, 1557 W. Briarhollow Lane, Highlands Ranch, 80129. The 2025 Christmas Lights Display turns the home into a glowing holiday wonderland. The house is wrapped in bright candy-cane stripes and twinkling lights, with a giant decorated tree and oversized presents creating a colorful, whimsical scene in the yard. A highlight for families is our Letters to Santa Mailbox, where kids can drop off their Christmas wishes and send them “straight to the North Pole.”

If you like snowmen and brightly lit trees then pack up the family and head on over to the Severson’s Christmas Light Show at 2880 Canyon Crest Lane, Highlands Ranch, 80126. Come see their eclectic collection of new, vintage, and unique homemade decorations!
Twinkle Wonderland at 3523 E. Meadow Creek Pl, Highlands Ranch, 80126, glows like a holiday landmark the moment anyone looks its way. Covered in bright, colorful Christmas lights from roofline to railing, it radiates that warm, joyful glow that makes people slow their cars just to stare. Don’t miss the light-up leg lamp, shining proudly in the front window!
Lone Tree
From Nov. 27 – Jan. 26, enjoy the annual display of holiday lights at the historic Schweiger Ranch Holiday Display of Lights from the warmth and comfort of your car from the parking lot, and along Havana Street. Please note the Ranch complex will be closed and entrance within the gates is not permitted. If you’re up for a winter evening walk, get a closer view by using the East West Trail.
Check out the Lights on Lieter, 10591 Lieter Pl., Lone Tree, 80124 (95.3 FM), back for a fifth year. Lights on Lieter kicks off the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Enjoy a dazzling, music-synchronized light show. Lights shine 30 minutes after sunset and go until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Parker
In Parker, the Parker Holidays Home Decorating Contest returns this year. Submit your home to win in five categories. Entries will be accepted online from Monday, Dec. 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12. Judging and voting will take place Dec. 13 to 21. Once the entry deadline has closed, the Town will share a virtual map of all registered homes, so the community can plan a walk or drive around Parker to see the decorations, submit their votes, and share in the celebration. Enjoy Christmas Through the Decades, 22117 Pebble Brook Ln., Parker, 80138. Two houses linked together with more than 6,000 dazzling lights synced to more than 13 minutes of Christmas movie music. Shows daily from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Grace Presbyterian Church
Grace Presbyterian Church, 7900 Hope Place, Littleton, CO 80125, has a free light show this holiday season. Drive up, tune in your radio, and watch the lights dance to the music! The lights run nightly from 5 – 10 p.m., beginning Nov. 23 through Jan. 5.
Christmas in the Stix
Head out east to 25220 SH-86, Ramah, CO 80832 (mile 39) for a new drive through experience. Over one half mile Christmas light display that runs across 40 acres of rolling hills and through large ponderosa pines. Every Friday and Saturday in December plus Dec. 24-27. $15 per car.
