Wild in Our Town

Get the chance to learn about local wildlife at this popular annual public education program. Natural resource staff and law enforcement representatives from the Town of Castle Rock, Douglas County Open Space, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, and Rocky Mountain Wildlife Alliance will provide interesting wildlife facts and answer questions about coyotes, bears, deer, mountain lions, bobcats, rattlesnakes, prairie dogs, beavers, turkeys and other native wildlife.
Tips will include how to avoid human-wildlife conflicts and how to watch wildlife responsibly. Real wildlife displays will be on hand to see and touch!
Free and open to all ages. No registration is required.
