Max Taps Delivers a True Taste of Colorado Craft Beer in Highlands Ranch
If you are looking for a great local hangout in Highlands Ranch, look no further than Max Taps.
Max Taps, opened in 2017, is more than just a place to grab a drink, it’s a place to hang out and stay awhile. At its core, this taproom is all about celebrating Colorado’s craft beer scene. With 54 rotating taps featuring breweries from across the state, it gives you the chance to sample a wide variety of beers all in one place without having to brewery-hop across Colorado.
Not a beer drinker? No problem. They also offer wine and other options, making it an easy pick for groups with mixed tastes.

The atmosphere is casual and welcoming for the entire family, with indoor and outdoor seating. It’s the kind of place where you can meet friends, bring a group, or just stop in for a quick drink after work. Dogs are welcome – in fact, Max Taps is named after owners Dave and Shelly’s dog, Maxine, who you will also find featured on some of the merch for sale.
Throughout the week, you’ll find events like trivia nights, live entertainment, bingo, darts, and even events like dueling piano shows. Max Taps also keeps things fresh with rotating food trucks, so you can pair your drink with something different every time you visit.

Max Taps is also deeply ingrained in the Highlands Ranch community, and you will see their fleet of jeeps as part of the HRCA Fourth of July Parade every year, and also regularly holding fundraiser nights to support local charitable causes and participating in local events.
There is also a second Max Taps located in Centennial at 11405 E Briarwood Ave #100, with the same great beer selection and a full-service kitchen.
