The Curate Story

Curate Mercantile is owned by Karli Millspaugh, a Parker resident, whose journey began as a vendor in the shop back in 2015 while she was working in public relations. With a background in merchandising and a passion for supporting small businesses, she quickly connected with the concept and wanted to be more involved. She became co-owner in 2017 and took over as sole owner in 2019.

While the vendor-based retail model can be challenging to sustain, Curate has not only succeeded – it has thrived. Today, Curate has expanded from its original location on the edge of Highlands Ranch, with a growing waitlist of vendors eager to join. The brand also now includes a second store at the Aspen Grove shopping center, the Makers Market stores, as well as the Aspen Grove Farmers Market and the Orchard Farmers Market.”
