Castle Rock Day at Reuter Hess Reservoir

Paddle. Relax. Explore. Enjoy the serene, scenic beauty of Rueter-Hess Reservoir during Castle Rock Day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16.
Join the Town of Castle Rock’s Parks and Recreation Department for an exclusive day of adventure at one of Douglas County’s hidden gems. This is a unique opportunity to explore the Reuter-Hess Reservoir and participate in a variety of activities, including hiking, fishing, stand-up paddleboarding, windsurfing and nonmotorized boating.
Whether a beginner or an experienced outdoor enthusiast, all skill levels are welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring kayaks, canoes, or SUPs, or arrange rentals through local vendor Surf’SUP.
Online reservations are required for Castle Rock Day, and the parking fee will be waived for those who register through Castle Rock Parks and Recreation. Registration is per vehicle; individual registration is not required. Visit CRgov.com/RueterHessRec to learn more and reserve your spot.
