Since 1999, Mountainfilm on Tour has brought the festival’s most compelling short films to communities around the world, extending the reach of Mountainfilm, one of America’s longest-running documentary film festivals, founded in 1979 and held annually over Memorial Day weekend. Through the power of film, art, and ideas, Mountainfilm inspires audiences to create a better world by showcasing stories of adventure, activism, social justice, environmental stewardship, and the indomitable human spirit.
