Slash Collection Day

Gather any tree limbs, prunings, pine needles, or other yard debris and bring them for free disposal during the City’s Slash Collection event.

All vegetation is allowed. Please limit the diameter of trunks or limbs to less than 16 inches. No lumber is allowed, and please ensure there is no metal (nails, screws, etc.) or rocks in the materials you drop off.

“Slash” is debris from nature, such as tree limbs, prunings, and pine needles. If not removed, slash can increase potential fire hazards on your property. Removing slash and creating defensible space around your home is the first line of defense against wildfires.
