Just under a mile of walking trail\, the illumination of cottonwoods\, boxelders and pine trees line the pathway past the Green Farm Barn and through the Crossroads Garden\, Deer Creek Discovery Children’s Play Area and 1880s Hildebrand Ranch homestead. There is the option of an alternative path for those who want to take a shorter stroll. \n\n\n\nIn line with our core value of sustainability\, all lights used in the event are LED.

Join the library for some of our favorite holiday stories\, hands-on crafts\, and a lil’ something sweet! Visit the Gingerbread Village at MorningStar where you can write a letter to Santa\, decorate cookies\, pop into a photobooth\, browse the Holiday Bazaar\, and more! \n\n\n\nThe tree lighting will take place at 6:30pm with remarks from Mayor Harmon. Story times will be at 7pm\, 7:15pm\, and 7:30pm.
