SUMMARY:Discovery Park Summer Concert: Caltucky
DESCRIPTION:Born in the foothills of Northern California\, Caltucky is a progressive bluegrass band blending tradition\, improvisation\, and raw energy into a sound that’s both grounded and boundary-pushing. With fiery banjo\, soulful fiddle\, rich harmonies\, and driving rhythms\, their music lives somewhere between mountain roots and jam-driven exploration. \n\n\n\nKnown for their high-energy live performances\, Caltucky weaves together blistering instrumentals\, harmony-filled originals\, and inventive covers that shift seamlessly from foot-stomping breakdowns to groove-heavy\, trance-like moments. A rising force on the West Coast circuit\, they’ve earned recognition from the California Bluegrass Association and shared stages with acts like Leftover Salmon and The String Cheese Incident—bringing a fresh\, fearless spirit to modern bluegrass.

SUMMARY:Castle Rock Summer Concert: Jackson Dean with special guest Tigirlily Gold
DESCRIPTION:One of Nashville’s most intriguing artists with his strong gravel-toned vocals\, wayward spirit\, intentional songwriting and overall mystique\, the fast-rising singer/songwriter Jackson Dean has earned a reputation for his impressive live show and thought-provoking\, lyric-driven music. \n\n\n\nThe young talent burst on the scene in 2022 with his atmospheric\, musically-forward debut album Greenbroke that featured his PLATINUM debut single\, “Don’t Come Lookin’\,” which cemented Jackson as the youngest solo male Country artist to reach the top of the charts with a debut\, and his GOLD certified follow up single “Fearless (The Echo).” His live show stand out and current single “Heavens To Betsy” marked the lead track from his “..near-perfect follow-up” (American Songwriter) sophomore album On The Back Of My Dreams\, released last fall via Big Machine Records. The textured\, experiential body of work is built on transcendental\, swelling songs and Dean’s bone-shaking vocal performance\, delivered with striking swagger. The demand for Jackson skyrocketed after landing a coveted spot on artist-to-watch lists by Pandora\, Spotify\, Apple Music\, Amazon\, and CMT\, as well as an ACM New Male Artist of the Year nomination in 2023. \n\n\n\nA vocalist who truly thrives on stage (as evident in his Live At The Ryman album)\, the Maryland native has leaned hard into touring\, building a passionate fanbase that connects on a deeper level – both on his headlining runs and as support for superstars including Toby Keith\, Blake Shelton\, Miranda Lambert\, Lainey Wilson\, Eric Church\, Luke Bryan\, Brantley Gilbert\, Kane Brown\, Brooks & Dunn\, Lee Brice\, HARDY and Brothers Osborne. Ever evolving and expanding into new territory both sonically and lyrically\, Dean will release the sultry surrender “Be Your Man” on May 9 and is currently on his headlining On The Back Of My Dreams Tour internationally.

SUMMARY:Cattle Drive
DESCRIPTION:During the 1800s\, large herds of Longhorn cattle were driven through Colorado. The route\, known as the “Goodnight-Loving Trail\,” started in west Texas and passed through our area on the way to the stockyards in Denver and on to Wyoming. This event helps honor that heritage. \n\n\n\nWatch as cowhands from Silverado Ranch drive a herd of Texas Longhorn through Downtown. Starting at Rock Park\, the herd will continue along Perry Street before completing the journey in front of the Castle Rock Police Department. Please keep safety in mind\, and stay behind the protective barriers along Perry Street.  \n\n\n\nThe Rocky Mountain Indigenous Dancers\, made up of members of tribes from across the plains\, return this year to lead the cattle drive with a captivating processional performance. \n\n\n\nAfter the cattle drive\, the fun continues at Festival Park. See additional performances by the Rocky Mountain Indigenous Dancers\, take an old-time photo with the family\, grab delicious food truck fare and enjoy entertainment for all ages!
