Mission
The mission of the Town of Parker is to enrich the lives of residents by providing exceptional services, engaging community resources, and furthering an authentic hometown feel. We promote transparent governing, support sustainable development, and foster a strong, local economy.
Services Provided:
Public Works / Engineering: Maintains and improves public infrastructure — roads, bridges, rights-of-way, traffic services, street maintenance, stormwater management, and capital improvement projects.
Fleet & Facilities: Maintains Town-owned buildings, performs janitorial services, and manages/maintains the vehicle fleet (patrol cars, road work equipment, etc.).
Community Development: Handles building permits, plan reviews, inspections, zoning, land use, and long-range planning.
Town Clerk’s Office/Licensing: Oversees municipal elections, open records, licensing (such as peddlers, solicitors, liquor licenses), and maintains the town’s legal documents and municipal code.
Finance/Procurement: Manages the Town’s financial resources, administers and collects sales and lodging taxes, handles procurement (contracts, purchasing) and vendor relations.
