In Douglas County, outdoor concerts are one of the best parts of the summer. There’s nothing better than a warm evening, live music, and a laid-back crowd of neighbors and friends all soaking it in together.
Whether you’re bringing a blanket, picking up takeout from a local favorite, or making it a full night out, these concerts are an easy go-to for summer fun. And the best part? There are so many happening all across the county, from Castle Rock and Highlands Ranch to Parker, Lone Tree, Castle Pines, and Larkspur.

Castle Pines Summer Concert Series
Castle Pines is turning up the volume this summer with three high-energy concerts at Coyote Ridge Park. You won’t want to miss a beat! These fun-filled evenings are the perfect way to kick back, enjoy great music, and connect with our amazing community.
Grab your chairs, pack your picnic, and join us under the summer sky for music, laughter, and good vibes all around.

Castle Rock Summer Concert Series ($)
Get ready for a milestone 10th anniversary season of the Summer Concert Series. For longtime fans or first-time attendees, this milestone season promises unforgettable performances, summer nights filled with music, and a few extra celebratory touches along the way.
Nestled in the beautiful setting of Philip S. Miller Park, the Amphitheater has become one of the most sought-after live music venues along the Front Range. Each year, the featured acts get bigger and bigger. The series has hosted dozens of Grammy-nominated, world-famous artists and has made Castle Rock a musical hotspot. These ticketed music events have truly become a signature part of summers in the community.

First Fridays Concert & 5K
Head to Festival Park on the first Friday of June, July and August to enjoy live music, kids’ activities, food trucks, cocktails and a free 5K fun run. The fun run starts at 5:30 p.m. and concerts start at 6 p.m.

Jazz in the Park
Each Wednesday of June, July and August from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Jason Bower and Castle Rock Music entertain locals and visitors with the cool sounds of jazz music in Festival Park. This event is a low key, pop up style event that is intentionally paired down. There will be no stage, no vendors and no alcohol served in order to create a relaxing, laid back vibe. Small town simplicity at its finest. Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome, but we ask guests to be courteous with their neighbor when setting up.
Tunes for Trails
Enjoy live music for a good cause with the Tunes for Trails / Perks for Parks free concert series. Join the fun from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month throughout the summer at the Amphitheater at Philip S. Miller Park. Although this is a free event, donations for the Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation are appreciated.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. The concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. Pack a picnic and enjoy some time with the family before the show. Food and alcohol will also be available for purchase.

Highlands Ranch
Highlands Ranch 2026 Summer Concert Series
The Highlands Ranch Community Association hosts a weekly concert in the park on Thursdays. Gather the whole crew and dance to our incredible line-up of bands coming to Highland Heritage Regional Park. Bring a blanket, a picnic, or money to purchase food truck treats and enjoy dinner and live music while watching the sun set behind the Rocky Mountains. Concerts are held Thursday, June 4 through Thursday, July 30 (no concert on July 2) from 6:30 – 8 p.m.

Summer Sunset Concert
On Aug. 22, experience the nostalgia of the 90s and early 2000s with Ninety2K at the annual Summer Sunset Concert! We are excited to have Denver’s premier 90s and 2000s rock cover band join us with some high energy performances and an unforgettable set list.
This free concert is at Civic Green Park from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Pack a picnic or purchase dinner from a food truck, bring a blanket and relax, or spend the night up front on the dance floor with family and friends. No glass or dogs allowed in the park and no strollers or wagons allowed on the grass.
Larkspur
Music in the Park
From June to August, the Larkspur Chamber of Commerce hosts Music in the Park (MITP) at the Larkspur Park.
This is a FREE, family-friendly event that features music in the evening on the Colorado Front Range, just north of Monument and South of Castle Rock. However, a $10 donation is encouraged to support the featured nonprofit organization for each event.
Bring a camping chair, a blanket, and your ready-to-sing-a-long attitude!

Lone Tree
Backyard Beats at Sweetwater Park
This FREE concert on May 23 at Sweetwater Park featuring Crush: The Bon Jovi Concert Experience is all about creating memorable experiences with your family, friends, and neighbors in your own backyard! Enjoy outstanding performances from national and regional acts, celebrating diverse talents and bringing the community together through music. For $15, you can also purchase a tasting pass to participate in the Southern Street Eats food truck showdown.
Music on the Patio
Enjoy music from local bands along with weekly food and beverage specials all summer long at Music on the Patio every weekend at the Lone Tree Golf Club & Hotel this summer! Concerts are at the Lone Tree Grill from 6 to 9 p.m. These events are free, but space is limited. Tables will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

This beloved concert series, held at the Lone Tree Arts Center, invites you to experience three world-class artists under the stars on our beautiful terrace theater with one special indoor performance as well. With an exciting lineup of artists bringing a mix of R&B and blues, bluegrass, rock, and country, there’s something for every music lover. Tickets available for purchase.

Discovery Park Concert Series
Head to Discovery Park on Thursday evenings every summer for Parker Arts’ FREE Discovery Park Summer Concert Series! This state-of-the-art outdoor venue features an amphitheater, open-space design, monumental art pieces, an interactive water fountain in the summer, and more! Eight concerts will be held from June 4 – July 23 starting at 6:30 p.m.
