La Baguette de Normandy Brings A Little Taste of France to Parker
You don’t have to hop on a plane to France to enjoy a really good French croissant. What makes La Baguette de Normandy in Parker such a fun local find is that it offers something you don’t always expect to find in your own backyard: an authentic French bakery and café experience.
Nearly everything is made from scratch in-house using high-quality ingredients, and many of the recipes and techniques come from generations of French bakers.
La Baguette de Normandy has been part of the Parker community for 19 years, serving up French breads, pastries, desserts, breakfast, and lunch. It’s the kind of local spot that feels like a discovery, especially when you walk in and see the pastry case filled with beautiful French treats.
La Baguette de Normandy was founded by French baker and pastry chef Michael Dupont and his wife, Bianca. During a ski trip to Colorado, the couple fell in love with the area. They returned to France, packed up their bakery, and moved to Colorado to start a new chapter. They chose Parker as their new home and opened the bakery, where it has remained ever since.

In 2025, after nearly two decades in the community, the Duponts retired. Katrina Cammack had the opportunity to take over the bakery and continue what they had started. Having lived overseas for 10 years, Katrina had developed a deep appreciation for European food and culture. When she took over La Baguette de Normandy, she wasn’t interested in changing what made the bakery special. She wanted to preserve the recipes and craftsmanship customers had loved for nearly two decades while investing in the bakery’s future.
One of the first things you’ll want to try is the almond croissant. They’re made the French way: each croissant is sliced in half, soaked in house-made almond syrup, filled with almond cream, and then baked again until the filling is rich and the outside is perfectly crisp. A dusting of powdered sugar finishes it off.
The baguettes are another customer favorite. In France, a baguette de tradition is protected by law and can contain only four ingredients: flour, water, salt, and yeast. It also has to be made using traditional methods. La Baguette de Normandy follows those guidelines, using authentic ingredients, time-honored techniques, and a French-style hearth deck oven to create a baguette that wouldn’t feel out of place in a neighborhood bakery in France.
But don’t forget about the pastries. Depending on the day, you might find up to 48 different French desserts, including éclairs, fruit tarts, mousse cakes, and elegant entremets. There are familiar favorites, but also plenty of opportunities to try something you’ve never had before.

And if you’re not in the mood for pastries, La Baguette de Normandy also offers breakfast and lunch, along with coffee, breads, desserts, and other French specialties. View the menu.
So the next time you’re looking for somewhere new to grab breakfast, lunch, coffee, or something sweet, you don’t need to drive to Denver (or book a flight to France). You might just discover your new favorite local bakery in Parker.
